All across the country, there are sailboat activities happening on a regular basis! Check with your local sailboat dealers, yacht clubs or sailing organizations for terrific local opportunities to get you out and on the water! You’ll find in sailors a sea of kindred spirits, and most are more than happy to help you get started!
One of the best ways to learn about sailing and all the opportunities available is to visit a sailing show! At the popular Strictly Sail™ shows, you can visit the special “Discover Sailing Pavilion” with free boat rides designed to introduce you to the excitement of sailing. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to see and board all the fabulous new boats displayed by the world’s top sailboat manufacturers, check out the latest in new gear and electronics, learn about charter and sailing schools, attend free seminars … and a whole lot more, all in a fun and festive environment!
Find Sailing Resources In Your State. Hosted by the National Sailing Hall of Fame, the Sailing Resource Locator allows sailors and non-sailors alike to see at a glance what sailing resources are located in their area. Categories include: Community Sailing Centers & Sailing Schools, College Sailing, High School Sailing, Youth Sailing, Cruising Clubs & Association, Yacht Racing Associations, Yacht Clubs, and Class/Manufacturer Clubs & Associations.
Send the National Sailing Hall of Fame an email today with your additions to: sailingresources@nshof.org.
